Congratulations to Director Jessica, Li Jia Huan and the rest of her team on the inclusion of her film “The Witness” in the 2019 Y-Show organized by the Chiu Yeng Culture Association. This fourth edition of the Y-Show has seen the competition grow into the premiere collection of graduation projects from across Macao. The juried show also brings together an international jury and sees Macao student work compete alongside work from Taiwan, Mainland China and Europe. The inclusion of Li Jia Huan’s horror film is particularly significant as it addresses themes of domestic violence and abuse through a creative narrative and experimental cinematography.
