The short film “Sea” directed by Johnson, Chan Chon Sin will screen in competition at the The Macao International Shorts Film Festival (MISFF). Sea is a graduation film project completed by Johnson as part of his studies in the Creative Media stream of the Dept. of Communication. Johnson is currently pursuing an M.F.A. in Filmmaking (Director) at Taipei National University of the Arts. Johnson’s graduation film has a had a very successful festival run since premiering at the CommFest in 2022. It has been in competition and screened at the following with screenings at the following festivals:

This shows that compelling creative work done in Macao can find audiences internationally and that the creativity and filmmaking prowess of filmmakers like Johnson can flourish in our program.
