Six short films produced by 4th year students specializing in Creative Media within the Dept. of Communication will screen on Nov. 27th, at 7pm in the E31 Student Union Theatre. These six short films were produced as part of the Video Workshop I course, a capstone course that is designed to challenge students to think critically and creatively through the hands-on experience of making their own short films.

The theme for this semester is “Cinema of Infrastructure.” Infrastructure includes transportation infrastructure, housing infrastructure and other physical and material systems that support us. The students have produced original short films that explore these different forms of infrastructure to better understand connections between people and the material and media worlds around them.

All are welcome to this free public film screening. The screening will be followed by a Q & A session with these student filmmakers.
