Students in the Workshop I course will screen their films on Nov. 28th, at 7pm in the E31 Student Union Theatre. These six short films are produced by 4th year students in the Dept. of Communication specializing in Creative Media.
Video Workshop I is a capstone course that is designed to challenge students to think critically and creatively through the hands-on experience of making their own short films. The theme for this semester is “Autofiction.” Autofiction is an increasingly popular genre that uses real life experiences as the source of creative fiction.
Each one of these original short films addresses issues and concerns important to this new generation of filmmakers, from the ways they remember their youth to the changing industries and environment of Macao. The stories are fictive reimaginings of their own experiences.
